Art Class
Through special skill-level tailored programs and utilization of various art tools such as large crayons, oil pastels, watercolor and acrylic paints on mediums such as paper, T-shirts and canvas, our art class aims for better development and training of our disabled members’ senses of observation, thereby helping them discover the beauties of their surrounding environments. Furthermore, engagement in art allows improvements in their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and abilities to express their thoughts and feelings, which they may not be able to do any other form.
Goals
Initial stage: Establishment of basic skills using exercises with basic lines, shapes and
colors to motivate imagination and joy of painting.
Interim stage: Development of expression of feelings and thoughts and ability to communicate with others through painting, as well as stimulation of each child’s potential.
Final stage: Utilization of individual youth’s talent to design products for sale, such as cards, bookmarks, and paintings as part of their vocational training.

Music Class
By focusing on playing percussion instruments, our music class allows for enhancement of our angels’ rhythm, focus and coordination. Furthermore, the class often features singing and dancing, which are great ways to develop and increase audio, verbal, motor and social interaction skills.
Taekwondo Class
The class is operated on the basis of observing the natural abilities of each disabled youth and concentrating on fostering his/her skills from there. The lessons (done through various exercises and obstacle courses) are designed to hone abilities in balance, coordination and focus, as well as to help strengthen muscles in those who are physically weaker. With enough time, encouragement and care, each angel will be able to gradually develop his/her abilities.
跆拳道班

Adult Class
In addition to providing various classes and fun activities for our angels, FFDY arranges for classes for adults that are both fun and educational. So far we have held classes and seminars pertaining to dance, flower arrangement, healthy cooking, water and energy saving and more recently first aid and CPR. We will continue to use our resources to find and offer such classes.
